Leslie Graves | Owner/President

Leslie Graves is the owner and founder of Pintler Billing Services, LLC. Established in 2001, Pintler Billing Services was created out of a desire to provide quality medical billing services to Montana health care providers. From the beginning Leslie has focused on customer service and professionalism, and as a result Pintler Billing Services has grown steadily to serve over 44 EMS clients throughout Montana. To maintain this high-quality service, Leslie earned her CAC (Certified Ambulance Coder) credentials and ensured that each of her staff also obtained the certification, along with required continuing education classes each year. She is a member of NAAC (National Academy of Ambulance Coders), HBMA (Healthcare Business Management Association), a member of University of Montana Alumni Association, and a member of the local Chamber of Commerce. Leslie also serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the MT EMS association (MEMSA).  Leslie pursues all educational opportunities regarding medical billing and the EMS industry that will enhance her ability to provide a quality service to her clients.

Leslie graduated from the University of Montana in 1998 (BA History). She lives in Eureka, Montana with her husband and children, and spends most of her free time with her family, riding horses, cheering on the Eureka Lions sports teams and Griz football team, and enjoying the beautiful Tobacco Valley and surrounding areas.

As more and more healthcare administration services are outsourced to large companies in other states or overseas, Leslie is proud to own a company that employs Montanans and caters to Montana providers on a personal level.

Norma Salminen | Operation & Staff Manager

Norma Salminen joined our team at Pintler Billing Services as the Operations Manager in February 2023.   She brings 30 years of office experience with a background in the real estate/closing/lending industry. Norma provides excellent customer service, attention to detail, and brings strong leadership skills to this position. Being part of a team has always been important to her.

Norma spends a lot of time fishing, camping, jeeping and loves to travel.  She is happily married and together they have 4 adult children and currently 3 grandsons with hopes of many more grand-babies to come.  She says, “I have a son-in-law that is a EMT/Fire Fighter, so being a part of this team, gives me a new perspective on what he does, as well as a greater respect for the services Pintler Billing provides to all the EMS providers.”

Garrett Graves |  Special Projects Coordinator

Garrett Graves is a recent Graduate from the University of Montana obtaining undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Management Information Systems. Garrett just finished his Master’s in Business Administration and completed his college football career after playing in the NCAA FCS National Championship Game in January 2024. He joined Pintler Billing Services in February as the Special Projects Coordinator.

Garrett enjoys the outdoors, fly fishing, and archery hunting in his spare time. Besides being an avid outdoorsman Garrett enjoys running, climbing, lifting, and working on his Harley. He works for Pintler Billing based out of Missoula, MT.

Kim McDermid | Administrative Assistant / IT

Kim McDermid joined Pintler Billing in July 2022 as our Administrative Assistant. Her background is in the legal field with 15 years in criminal justice.

Kim and one of her sons moved to this area in September 2021 following her parents from Oregon to live their dream of retiring to a log cabin on 20 acres in Trego, Montana. In her spare time and weather permitting she likes to explore new places in this beautiful State, and she enjoys helping her parents with the various projects they have on their 20 acres. She has 3 grown kids, two of which still live in Oregon along with her one granddaughter, and one grandson. She misses them terribly but has high hopes that they will one day move to Montana.

Jodi Paine | Billing Supervisor

Jodi Paine has been with Pintler Billing Services since 2016 and has a background in office management and accounting. She holds certifications as a Certified Ambulance Coder, a Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer, and a Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist from NAAC, and is our official Compliance Officer. Her attention to detail and leadership within our office elevates the level of professionalism and excellence that Pintler Billing offers to our clients.

Jodi is a Eureka native. She and her husband have two daughters that keep them busy with their various activities. Jodi enjoys cheering on our local sports teams as well as going camping, swimming, fishing, and boating in the beautiful outdoors.

Cerise Greene | Biller

Cerise Greene joined Pintler as an administrative assistant in 2021 and grew in her position, working to obtain her NAAC certification and become a biller. She has since become an expert in non-emergent transports, and a valued part of the billing team.

Cerise is a native to Eureka and a mom to one daughter, and enjoys hunting, fishing and everything Montana has to offer. She spends her free time hanging out with her family and running bird dogs.

Taylor Richardson | Biller

Taylor Richardson joined Pintler in August 2022 as a NAAC-certified ambulance biller with a background in hospitality.  She moved to Eureka from the Pacific NW in 2011 with her junior high sweetheart so that their kids could grow up in the beautiful outdoors. They have three kids together and have opened their homes to several other children through foster care.

In Taylor’s free time she enjoys boating, crafting, traveling, and whatever sports her kids are currently playing. She stays involved in the community by serving on the board of a local non-profit organization and by volunteering at the schools.

Gracie Bakkila | Biller

Gracie Bakkila joined Pintler Billing Services in 2022 and is a NAAC certified ambulance biller. She brings great attention to detail and teamwork to the billing team. Gracie was born and raised in Montana, and she enjoys cooking, as well as spending time with her family and dog, Kenai.

Geneie Davis | Biller

Geneie Davis joined Pintler Billing Services in January 2023 and is a NAAC certified ambulance biller with a background in accounting and hospitality.  She is a sports mom of 3 awesome kids, and she can often be found at sporting events supporting them. Geneie and her husband also breed Labrador Retrievers and currently have 3 that are part of their family.

Geneie’s hobbies include gardening, baking, cooking, and canning.

Cristee White | Biller

Cristee White joined Pintler Billing Services in 2024 and is a NAAC certified ambulance biller.  She has a background in customer service and enjoys helping others.

Cristee moved to the area in 2022 with her husband and their three children to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.  Cristee enjoys the outdoors and in her free time is always busy with kids’ sports, riding her horses, camping, hunting, fishing, and finding new places to visit with her family.

Josanna Ferguson | AR Supervisor

Josanna Ferguson joined the Pintler team as a biller in June 2020. She has since transferred over to Accounts Receivables and now supervises the department. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Psychology, and has a background in banking. She also holds a certification as a Certified Ambulance Coder from NAAC, since 2020.

In her free time, Josanna enjoys reading, playing with her dogs, and soaking up the sunshine.

Kerrie Tkachyk | AR Specialist

Kerrie Tkachyk joined Pintler Billing Services in 2022, is NAAC Certified, and specializes in our Accounts Receivable Department.  She has a background in customer service and enjoys helping others.  She loves to challenge insurance and find solutions to problems.  She has always enjoyed working with numbers, which makes her a wonderful addition to our AR team.

She is a native Montanan and is proud to call Montana home.  She and her husband have 3 amazing children who keep them busy and on their toes.  They enjoy all the outdoors adventures Montana has to offer no matter the weather.  They are always busy with kids’ sports, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and other various outdoor activities.

Cathy Schwartz | AR Specialist

Cathy Schwartz Joined our team at Pintler Billing Services in October 2022. She has significant work experience in many areas of EMS including years of paramedic work in the large city, rural & mountain stations of central California, community wildland firefighting and a final two decades in Jackson, Wyoming as an ER admissions clerk before jumping off-grid and settling in Montana.

Hiking, kayaking, running, and exploring the wilderness are passions that inspire writing and podcasting. As the oldest member on the crew, Cathy says that she enjoys the energy and inspiration that come from working with this phenomenal team.

Mikayla Goff | AR Specialist

Mikayla Goff joined Pintler Billing Services in April 2023 with a history of office administrative experience from the insurance industry.  She is the patient accounts receivables expert, and her efficiency and attention to detail is a valuable addition to the A/R department for many other tasks as well.

Mikayla is a Eureka native and enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. She spends her free time going to mud bogs to cheer on her husband and getting away on the weekends camping.

Lauri Smallwood | AR Specialist

Lauri Smallwood joined our team in October 2023 and is part of our accounts receivable department.  She has a background in bookkeeping and payroll and enjoys helping others.  Lauri was raised in Montana and loves to spend time outdoors with her dog, especially during the fall.
